who would like to help me create one? would anyone be willing to make a program for it? like i mean not a real computer game, but something like Solitari, where it's just a card game, but on the computer. anyone?

Um.. That would be cool agustus, I think it should be like a dice and card kinda game, like you use one die or however you spell it, and 6 doubles the attack, and 5 does nothing, then 1, 2, 3, and 4... 1 does a quarter of the damage, 2 does half damage, 3 does 3 qaurters of damage, and 4 does full damage attack..... It would be simple to make the cards by takeing a screenshot in the game when you have units selected, then just tear out that section, and paste it onto a blank ms paint screen, then just make a backround and put the cards status on.... so... What do you people think?

well, the structure would be somewhat similar to Magic The Gathering (MTG).

units would have Attack, HP, and Armor. Armor would not be like HPs. but instead, alright, say there is two Long Swordsman, yours attacks mine, mine has 2 armor lets say, and yours, has 3 attack. the 2 armor on mine, takes away 2 attack, so mine is only damaged by one.

ans as far as dice go, i don't think we should have them in there. ans we should make it so units attributes are in single didgit, with some exceptions though.

like a villager, would be 1/1. the first 1, means that it has 1 attack, the second, 1 HP.
or a hoplite, 3/3+3. the fisr, again, means 3 attack, then 3 HPs, and the +3 there, means 3 armor.

well? what do you guys think? it'd be really nice to have some feeback here.

Yeah, the dice thing sorta sounds messed up, and I was kinda thinking about magic the gathering when I was typeing it...

Well i've already started on this project. I'll post more info of it tomorrow.

and you can build buildings, but each one must wait a certain number of turns. if you assign more villagers, for each villager, the lesser turns you have to wait.

so say i'm going to build a Market. i'd have to wait 2 turns with one villager. but say i assign one more villager, then it will be finished by your next turn, but you must wait one more turn in order to use it.

oh, and villagers become "Tasked", much like being "Tapped" in MTG.

Well, I think that this sorta sounds like a board game if you ask me, let me tell you how I think it will work, say, each turn a player get's two cards, if he has hmmm, a barracks card, he would place that in an area where other military buildings go, then whenever that player would get a legion or something he put's him on top of the barracks, he stays at the barracks until you want him to go into the battlefield, then you repeat this military options with other turns... I was thinking of something though, how would you advance with ages? And would units cost? I kinda figured this out too, we make mine cards! Like... If you have a lumber mill, it providesyou with say... 30 wood a turn, and that lumber mill card would be put on the left side of your area, AND another thing I have a question about, would you just play it on a table or something? What would be nice is to have one of the more, artistic type people in the forums to design a board for the game... tell me if you think my ideas totally bite, I think they do!

well first off, how many of you have played Magic The Gathering, or Star Wars, or Young Jedi. and about resources, we'll have resource cards, Forests, Gold Mine, Stone Mine, Forage Bush, and Wild Game. you may "Task" a villager, and gain 1 of whatever the card says. for example, a Forest card would say.. "Task target villager, gain +1 wood"

do you see what i'm saying? and as far as military units goes, each card has a cost, a villager would cost 1 Food, a Short Swrodsman would cost 1 Food, and 1 or 2 Gold, i haven't worked on the costs yet. and no, it will NOT be a board game. okay, i'll talk more about buildings later, right now i have to go.
