1. Add market-to-market land trade, multiply trade gold regen rate by 5x so we can use more trade boats/caravans, and add a quarry building (stone farms
2. Move farms to stone age with granary instead of market as prerequisite. Add palissades in stone age, 5w/100hp.
3. Add wooden shield (at sp in tool), remove tower shield, move impies to tool as an upgrade of tool bowmen. Decrease tower cost to 100s.
4. Free short sword upgrade, double length of broad sword upgrade so they stay put. Give cavs +5 vs infantry archers, not just vs barrack units. Add an iron pellets upgrade in bronze, gives slingers +1 dam and +2 range. Increase siege workshop cost to 200w 50s.
5. Remove legions, centurions, helepolii and heavy cats. Increase phaland armor to 10, decrease scythe damage and armor to 7/0 and decrease HA/HHA damage to 4/5. Separate cataphract from cav/hcav, increase cost to 80f 120g, increase armor/shielding to 7/3, and increase camel bonus vs cataphracts to +12.
Civ changes:
1. Greek - Change their boat bonus to a real +30% speed for all boats. Add +2 slinger range bonus. Between archer-ranged slingers, hoppers who can keep up, and their sea econ to afford all that, greek should be a nice civ... instead of the worst in the game.
2. Carth - Add -20% tool age, bronze age and iron age cost bonus instead of transport bonus. Their bronze still won't be very strong, but at least it'll be fast.
3. Persian - Add artisanship.
4. Shang - Add +50% ballista tower RoF bonus. Remove camels and nobility, but add ballistics and ballista towers.
4. Bab - Add double farm production bonus (from sumie). With their tough walls and farms moved to stone age, they could actually use this bonus well.
5. Choson - Change swordsman bonus to +50% swordsman hps.
6. Hittite - Reduce warboat bonus to +2 range. Add impie so their tool stays the same. Remove camels and eles to put gaps in their tech tree.
7. Roman - Add guard towers.
8. Assy - Add impie so their tool stays the same.
9. Palmy - Add +100f for default start. Replace camel bonus with +2 camel/cav attack. Add craftsmanship and coinage, but remove chariots.
10. Sumies - Change farm bonus to +50% farming rate (0.60f/sec like shorefish). Remove artisanship and slingers.
11. Yammy - Add full temple techs.
