Seriously, take a look at the chapter that discusses unit attributes and uses. There is so much information in that chapter that is just plain WRONG, such as the author'a assertion that you can weaken an opponent's economy by STEALING HIS GOLD WITH TRADE SHIPS?!! Slingers also reportedly benefit from Infantry Armor (untrue) and that's only the tip of this rather ludicrous iceberg of ignorance. For me, the absolute nadir is the suggestion that you should use wall foundations in a Wonder battle to draw the enemy's cat fire to their own Wonder. This guy is so out of touch he advocates a strategy that was widely disdained by all honorable players in AoE to such an extent that Ensemble removed the foundation auto-targeting in RoR. In other words, he suggests a dishonorable tactic that no longer even WORKS. He also seems to back up a lot of his statements with sentiments from Microsoft's beta testers. The included interviews with some of these folk make it obvious they never play anything but Gump limit games with little if any tool rushing. No offense to Steven Kent, who I'm sure is a nice guy, but maybe next time Microsoft could contract an actual player to write the Age of Kings strategy guide?
