I saw this type of story in the pharaoh pforums, and i thought i would start one here. You add a few lines to the story to make it "bazaar"

I've been to Canada once.(only for two days, but I thought it was beautiful)Vancouver, to be precise. Now that I have made my contribution to the Canadian Patriots Thread (that would be this one), I'm getting back to the story.

Blackheart: ...popov took out his.....

longsword, waving it at the camel thief. (do you have a longsword, popov?) Realizing that popov was a Choson with double hit points, the camel thief rode off in a panic, accidentally blundering into a marshmellow farm (sorry, couldn't resist), where he suddenly met his old enemy....

It WAS HonoredMule, the killer penguin of the north! spotting the camel, and ignoring the camel's stench, Mule(penguin) stepped foreward calmly and gracefully, untill he jumped onto his stomach, with his fins spread like wings. He then slid silently toward the camel thief, gaining velocity through the tall grass, while the camel and rider searched dreadingly for the penguin they were sure they had seen only moments ago...

Canada and the US are DEFINITELY not the same!!
However, I cannot honestly say that one is generally better than the other...

Man, If we could stick to this story, it would be really fun.

Our poor camel thief had dealt with all he could take from this God-forsaken country, and decided to turn back to face his punishment, but...

ARRRGHH!! first, learn a little about canada. THEN come and talk about it. J'ai parle un peu du francis; i do not know the language well. go mule, and i don't really care how you spell that remark known as the "Canadian-way-to-end-all-sentences"
And Canada is VERY multi-cultural. And a lot of us CAN locate our country, let alone yours. Also, when you look at a map, find Canada. See how MUCH larger it is then the US? Also, we have our problems. The stupid government, for example, is cutting, like, 30% out of the school system since Nova Scotia has a 11 billion dollar debt.
Also, Sarah McLaughcin is VERY unpopular here. She went to the high school, Queen Eliabeth High, and there is a poster of her in it. it is constintly covered with "sarah sucks", and other remarks toward her. It is always ripped. She is very much dispised here. Sorry to cut some more away from the story, but...

Look, ya son of a beachball, the first thing almost every "american" (we live in north america too) needs to realize is that he don't got two clues to rub together about Canada, second, since it came to this, is that the UN had voted CANADA as the best place IN THE WORLD to live for something like three years running.

Let's not forget how FRENCH all those orientals and chineese are that live in vancouver, or how FRENCH all us scots and irelanders are here on the east coast, etc. U guys all came from brits, spainiards, and those funny lookin people that don't exist anymore and aren't in history books...

As far as professional help goes, Canada produces far more professionals in general than the US, but we get spread all over north america looking for high-end jobs which sadly Canada lacks.

Canada's medicare system is way better than the US, if u guys don't have proper medicare, u could be on your deathbed and the doctors aren't ALLOWED to help you!

Are legal system way fewer loopholes and our judges are the most honorable in the northern hemisphere.

Shall I continue?

oh, yea, CANADA, CANADA, CANADA, is the largest country in the world, U have a larger population.

minimum wage on the west coast is $7.15, and the the only thing more expensive there than most other places is land.

NOW CAN WE PLEASE GET BACK TO THE STORY!?!

BTW, despite the school problems queen mentioned, Our citizens know a lot more about history, science, and grammar, and Canada is much more literate, both in ability and appretiation of litterature.

Queen Hatsepsut: Sarah McLaughcin is very unpopular everywhere, because it's spelled McLachlan

She's unpopular because she was the start of Lilith Fair (aka dyke-o-rama, lesbian fair, etc). I like it better this way, being a fan now is like a society thing again instead of everyone and their brother buying Surfacing and thinking they are "her biggest fan"

ok, i got an idea, go start a US v Canada thread and let the story continue... i don tknow much about the CA goverment or there laws or anything else about it... i just know where it is and that its a damn fine place... but also my family came from a very important scotish clan, the MacDonalds, but there is also less know german side to me... but I AM DAMN proud to be a american and live in the US! the US has allways been a good country, but as with anything, even a clan on the zone, things get corrupted with size and the US is to big! canada is still open, more "free" even if it doesnt seem that way... well im going to shut up now... i feel like backspacing this whole thing, but what the heck! im bored!

First of all, my last post was a joke, i think i noted that.
But, I just cant stop now. First, I do know a little about canada, not a great deal, but some. Canada is not the largest country in the world. Russia is. the population is approx. 40% british orgin, and 30% french. As for the un thing, who cares. Thats not a real popular thing down here in the U.S. The united states has the best medical care in the world, thats why people come here for difficult procedures. It is however expensive, and that is the downside. Unfortunatly research costs money, and it has to come from somewhere. But, i have never heard of someone not being treated for a lack of payment. And no one has died for that reason. The one thing i will agree with 110% is the legal system, its sucks down here. If you have the money your going to get off. Personally, i enjoy living in the country with the highest standard of living, the lone superpower, the largest gnp, and the best opportunities anywhere in the world. You talk of canadians and their accomplishments, well, to start with, without companies like micorsoft, intell, ibm, dell, ect, this forum wouldn't even be possible. we curred polio, we went to the moon, we invented football and the airplane, we won two world wars, and protected the rest of it for 50 yrs. during that time we rebuilt europe and japan. We also freed kuiat and kept about 50% of the worlds oil out of iraqi controol. And even now when there is a problem somewhere in the world, who does everone call on? we have become babbysitter and police man to the world. Not to mention banker. Some countries accually use the american dollar as their currency, and most of the world is bassed on it. And i conclude with this: I have been to canada, and i do know a few things about it. I have no idea what got you started, my post were all in fun. Canada is a beuatifull place, and i wouldn't mind living there at all. Now go ahead and reply in the nastiest way you want, i promise this will be my last in this thread. but i hope you get over your national "insecurity" and drop it. I'll repeat it one more time, ALL MY POSTS WERE IN FUN.

Butch,

1 that leaves 30% unacounted for, a lot more than the US has.

2 Too bad 80% of us (canada or us) are lower-middle class, and can't afford hefty bills every time billy breaks his tooth at hockey practice...

3 I agree with a lot of other things u said, excluding Microsoft. That company has crippled the continent's possibilities with anti-commercial, monopolistic measures that have stifled many other potential businesses, and their gimmics and scams and the sale of brand names that only work with other brand names... I HATE Microsoft and Intell with a passion! But I did agree with a lot of things in that region of your post.

4 have you ever heard of the canadian arm? How about the canadian HAND? It can pick an egg up without crushing it and is strong enough to manipulate a large satellite (before u say well duh, no gravity, do a little study on inertia and how those things have to be extracted from a shuttle's banks) and if we're gonna be fair, what used to be russia (no longer a country, no longer the largest, it is now a union, a mini UN, sort of) contributed to Earth's space programs.

5 the wright brothers weren't the first to fly u know.

6 based on the us dollor? try again...

7 I don't care if u are kidding, what u said, u said. Pardon me for being patriotic, but I wouldn't mind if you were at least accurate. As for fun, I kinda thought "son of a beachball" was funny.

I expect by your last post that I won't hear from you again here, but I hope you read this...

I am sorry this whole thing started. I never intended this to be a battle of the titans, nor do I think negatively of the US (I reserve my rightous anger for corporations and dirty-mice-while-playing-aoe) Please don't view this post as nasty, but you touched an area that I can be expected to defend, I love Canada, but I like the us too. I don't want to put u guys down, but please don't put my country down either, even in jest. BTW, I will start a STORY in a new post, and I hope to see you there. This thread is screwed.

(sigggh...) you can't expect to see all of Canada in ONE trip, ask anyone. Canada has many diverse places. Also, to clear up some steriotypes, i shall quote the best i can from a canadian commercial. "I am not a lumberjack; or a fur trader. I do not know sarah, sam, or john from canada, though i am sure they are really nice. I pronounce it "about", not "aboot".I believe that the beaver is a truly proud, and noble animal! I will galdly fly my countrys flag on my backpack, I believe in peace, NOT police! My name is Joe, and i am canadian!"
