take palmy to iron? its best time is the early bronze period where it WILL have plenty of food, if you have any idea how to boat boom (and u can do this at the same time as ur phoe/min/whoever else friends, with a similar vil count, prob a lil less, but it doesnt matter since they work harder). with a few vils on gold, u will have enough for plenty of camels, a few hoppers, and some STs. hey a few CA would be nice too, or whatever, palmy has a good bronze. the only reason to take them to iron is if ur opponent is there or if ur opponent is good and is holding off ur bronze army. of course if ur opponent is hititte or one of the other strong iron civs, u are in trouble, since palmys bronze is around average. but that doesnt mean palmy isnt a great civ if u know how to use them. which is basically the same way u use every other civ. oh well it is too late to go on with this any further.

I had this great Palmy game, I was protected early in tool by Dion, and in Bronze I eventually demolished the guy next to me by running my camels right through his towers to those lovely villies. He brought about 50 CA and cav and chariots into my base...which died about about 15 Palmy camels. He just worked on destroying my buildings, so my forward base sent units while my palmy villies built MANY ranges. I never attacked after that, tribbing nearly 40000 resources to my allies, and I had control of all but one of the remaining gold pits and all but two of the stone pits by the game's end. Fun game.
