This has probably been covered before and I missed it, but here goes anyway.
Say you build some farms and then get a "farm upgrade". When the research is done will the existing farms get a boost in amount of food or will it only apply to farms built after the upgrade is researched?
Just curious. I have had times where I lay down farms and then get an upgrade at the same time. On occassion, I'm not really in a pinch and could wait a little and get the upgrade first. Just wondering if by waiting a little you maximize your wood investment or if it doesn't matter as long as you do it before farms expire.

Farms are affected by the researches if they are still building plans. You can use this to your advantage by researching domestication, then building farms right after. The research will be complete while the farms are still being built, giving them the bounus, and saving you time.
