By no means i say that AOE/ROR/AOK are bad games, they are truely brilliant games, but what i want to say is that if they had the proper time (no deadlines & schedules & stuff) tey will be much better games, with many more options & detail. For example did yamato or sumerian have centurions!!! did greek & roman centurions look the same???
of course these are minor details, but the gave would've been much better if they would be taken care of.

Well, in AoK (Or at least the version I saw a screen shot of, not an official one though) there WERE 4000 hp bridges in the game. And Bill Gates doesn't get all the money, or Microsoft in general, they get very little. Poor, moneyless Ensemble Studios, makers of the game, gets the biggest chunk of it. ES is out to make money, so they are gonna make a game that sells, Historically Accurate or not.

As much as I love AoE dont have RoR I would have to agree with JUICE look at the game now AoE all the Units are the same. They should have at least made some historicaly accurate units like the real Roman Heavy infentry, Greek Phalanx are good they kind of looked like that esspecialy shield, armor, and spear the helmet looked like broad swords men. So a little Historical accuracy would be good. Oh plus chines wouldnt win all the games if it was made historicaly accurate the chines were a week civ everyone knows that Mongol Tribes constantly raided and defeated week Chines armys plus Jap Samories would have wasted Chines Troops. The chines were kind of like the Persians depending on large # of Men to win and that rarely ever happend. So a little Historical accuracy would make the game a little more fun but dont get me wrong I love AoE and from what I saw on AoK its goin to be Phat as hell.

I didn't mean to imply that it was light. Sure, it's no silk shirt, but you have no trouble walking around in it. I have also tried on chainmail at my archery club, and you're right, it isn't light. However, I had no trouble wearing it around, and using my bow.

If u whinie babies want historical accuracy this game would have only one or two civs because most of the great empires took place at different times

Its a GAME, not a history lesson.
