I don't want to impinge anything to anyone.
Here is my personal experience:
Version 3:
Netscape reigned, IE sucked so bad...
Version 4:
IE reigns! Netscape gives you problems.
Caveat:
If you use Windows '98, you're OK. IE4 or IE% work just nice!
If you use Windows '95 (any version):
DO NOT install the desktop features of IE4 (ANY of them)! It's a lot of trouble / crashes.
Solution:
Re-install your "old" version of Windows 95 and then, install ONLY thr Browser - NO OTHER OPTIONS that take over the operating system. You will be allright.
OR - install IE5 and choose carefully which options you need.
I can testify that IE4 and IE5 work flawlessly and reliably in Windows NT4 and 98 and in Windows '95 provided that you follow my advice.
Have you, Netscapers, REALLY, tried out the cool features of IE5?...
Aw, c'mon, it's for free!
And so on... Please keep using netscape if that makes you happier...
