I was in a shopping mall last weekend in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and was in this software shop. I was looking through the games and suddenly to my surprise, I came upon a CD entitle, yes, you've guessed it, AGE OF EMPIRES II - AGE OF KINGS. As far I as I know, it's still beta so I went to the shop owner and ask him if is was the beta version? He said he doesn't know. So the next thing I did was bought the CD. As you all may or may not know, pirated CDs are all over Malaysia so I bought the AOK CD for only US$2.00 which is the same price I bought for all my software including Win98, Office2000 and whatever you name-it-they-got-it. I was so ecited when I got home and pop the CD into my CDROM drive. Click on install. After all the installation was done, I tried to play the game. Guess what? It's the beta version. I should have known. How can I be so stupid to assume that the AOK has been released. What a bummer. So here I am back to playing ROR. Man, is Malaysia a haven for software lovers or what?
