Folks,
I think we all need to be extremely careful when discussing the possible existence of a trainer. Simply having someone say "so and so beat me and it seemed pretty fast" does not mean a trainer was used.
It is all too easy to jump to the quite possibly false conclusion that a trainer exists. Its a classic case of an unfounded rumor evolving to a fact. See my post below where, in response to the question "is there a trainer?", I get the classic response "everybody knows there is a trainer".
Well look, for centuries "everybody knew" that the world was flat and that the sun went around the earth. Just because you heard something from someone it ain't necessarily so.
Whats the harm in saying that there is a trainer when you really don't know it to be true? The harm tends to be that people pick up on the rumor, think there is a trainer, and then slander the names of legitimate winners by saying "they cheated". Thus starting what is a truly harmful rumor. You can see examples of this in earlier posts in this forum.
If you are going to take the position that there is a trainer, provide solid evidence to back it up. Otherwise DON'T PROPOGATE THE RUMOR.
Screen shot are good but not perfect, there are a number of ways to fake them. Saying someone beat you and it was "way too fast" is simply not credible, there is no way to test the truth of your statement. To wit, the guy you accuse says "did not" and that leaves us no-where.
The best way to prove the existence would be to send a copy to one of the angels who could verify it on the forum.
Obviously you wouldn't want to publish the link.
