I am really annoyed with this bug. I get problems with it every single game, always resulting in random vill delay for 2-5 seconds. Not much but since it happen rougly 4-5 times per game I get a delya by 15-20 secs all together.

While I can't rember that I had problems like this in AoE or RoR until recently, since as soon as I had my 6 berrie pickers I got my food fast with no delay, unless hill berries or other cramped up ones.

Well does anyboy else have problems?
Are there any way to fight it?

Unless you are getting bad placement, i.e., foragers have to walk more than 1 tile, 6 berry pickers should be able to sustain continuous villager growth. If you do get bad placement, you just have to live with going with 7 on berries...

Many players go with 5 on berries until their food reserve gets too low. I have even seen a fantastic start by a player who found food fast and put only 4 on berries initially, the rest on stragglers. I believe he added villager 7 and 8 to berries and never missed a beat.

By "this bug", do you mean that you notice that your food is at 49 rather than 50? If so, just do a quick micromanage to drop off food, and that should fix it. Don't wait the 22 odd seconds for a forager to bring in a full load.

Keep your stick on the ice.

Ahwile ago I asked about the same thing, and the most logical reason as to about why this happens is the mathmatical rounding in the game results in one berry bush having only 149 food. Yup, your right though, it does suck but there is nothing you can do about it. This is one of them micromanagement things that seperate the best from, well, me.

Gonna make you say "Ugh!"
Where's my dogz at?

Delightfully tacky, yet unrefined.

I have a semi-solution to this "missing one food" thing. Just put one vill on each berrie.

I try to do that but it is seldom practical when the berries are cramed up, but if they are lined up I do.
It is really just plain anoying, notbing to do at all
