This strat, IMO, can be applied on all Gigantic Mediteranean map easily. I am sure many of you already did a variation of it, but this one is a specific case. On a medit map, many of us will concentrate our efforts towards the center of the map. Either to fight on the sea or to move troops using the shortest path possible while heading towards an ennemy's base. This leaves some very interesting "bling spot" on the map. The 4 corners of the map (12,3,6,9) are not explored completely by the "owner" of this piece of land. As an ennemy, if you can send a villy in this area, you are most likely going to be able to build amny military buildings without being seen, crank a huge army and then launch a big attack on the ennemy's town. Yesterday, my town was pretty well defended. I had about 10-12 compies scatered plus 1 ST(I had an advanced base somewhere else though This strat is SO great! Of course, this method didn't kill many villagers. I relocated somewhere else very quickly and rebuilded my town very quickly (had tons of wood). If Wraith would have had faster units to go after my villies, it would have been a perfect kill! Be aware a dead town is just dead wood. The victim can (like yesterday) recover from this in a quite short period of time and hit you back when you don't expect it. I was also very surprised to see how my population was left quite "alive".
