When I download a scenario or campaign from a website, do the AI files go into the /data and directory? What other files should go there? Thanks.

Next time put this in the scenario forum plz... You put files with extensions .scn, .scx, .cpn, and .cpx in the "scenario" directory/folder.

The .ai and .per files go to either data or data2, depending on whether the scenario/campaign ends with an x or not. (for expansion) If x, then the .ai/.per files go in data2. if not, they can go in either.

AND actually, you don't need to put AI and PER files in the data directory. When someone design a scenario/campaign, they are compiled in the .scn or .cpn. Same thing goes for the .bmp.

People should just send .scn, .cpn, .scx or .cpx in their zip.

You need to put only these files in the scenario or campaign folders.
