I read about "dancing units". How is this done and what purpose does it serve. My guess is that it distracts the AI of the enemy units.

Some help on this? Thanks.

Check out www.gamers.com under their AoE section, where you can find a recent article by Methos on Unit Control (which documents this strategy, among others).

And, yes, you're right - it's about distracting the AI so your shooters can have a field day. Read on!
