Jehu
if money is an important factor for you, go with a 17" at 0.28. You'll be entirely satisfied. Jumping to 19" is more pricy for the surface you get. You gotta think on the long term also. Maybe you could buy a very good monitor that you're gonna use for your next 2 oe 3 PCs. I think it just depend on your budget... 17 inches is satisfactory! BTW, are you superman? can you see a difference of 0.02? maybe... I doubt it's a big deal.

13 inch???? Lol. I played for the last year on a 15 " monitor. Is it just mine or do all monitors get darker with age? Well, the Price Club in our area started carrying 17" monitors for $199, so I bought 1. I can see so much more(brightness wise) while playing the game. Before, brown and gray were invisible on the mini map and now I can see them clearly. The larger screen size is nice but my game was improved more by the change in brightness/contrast. BTW, Price Club also has 19" monitors but at $399, I'll stick to the 17". Hey, next year, 19" ones will probably be $199. Hehe

Jehu, for $100 more, get the 19" IF your current system can handle it. In the long run you will not regret it. Besides, if you eventually replace your system, (which you will) you will be able to retain the 19" and save big bucks THEN whereas the 17" will seem just too small.
