Hmm interesting post. It has always seemed to me that a range 7 archer cant outrange a 6 range tower. In effect I have always thought as from what I have seen that range works in 2's so 2 range in the game really equals 1. a range 7 unit can outrange a range 5 unit if from behind a wall safely but not a 6. It might be 8 and 7 it might work on even. Has anyone else noticed this as well??

Yeah, melee units have a range of zero. I'm also pretty sure that towers have an extra range point that's not shown, unless you come in at a diagonal. Another question, in the scenario editor, Hero Marc Antony has a range of 0+6, so I figured he saw six spaces and a melee attack. But he doesn't! Just wondering what that means?
